If you or a loved one is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at ARH, you can expect a double layer of monitoring and care thanks to our Advanced ICU Care system. This system provides our local physicians and nurses instant access to medical professionals dedicated only to the urgent needs of ICU patients.
Through the Advanced ICU Care system, your doctor and nurse will work directly with highly trained critical care physicians and nurses via telemedicine computer monitors located in each ICU patient room 24-hours a day, seven days a week. These Advanced ICU Care specialists, (called intensivists) are trained in the needs of critically ill patients and work under the direction of your admitting physician to provide an extra layer of care that enhances patient safety. In collaboration with your physicians and nurses at the bedside, Advanced ICU Care intensivists and nurses are always there, along with our in-person staff, using special computer technology to monitor your condition every minute of the day.
