Hear long-time member & past ACRM President Douglas Katz, MD, FACRM, FAAN, FANA, FASNR, Boston University School of Medicine; HealthSouth Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital

"I think ACRM and the brain-ISIG has helped my thinking, my work, and my career grow enormously. Largely, because of some of the terrific projects I’ve been involved in and task forces part of the BI-ISIG. Also, because it has led to other opportunities in research and other collaborations outside of ACRM.

"The Brain Injury-ISIG benefits professionals of all disciplines, researcher, researcher-clinicians, and clinicians who work in brain injury. The benefit is really for people like me, such as physicians, psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, there’s all disciplines that work in brain injury are welcome to join the group and benefit from everything the group has to offer."

The BI-ISIG, is one of the oldest and largest here at ACRM. The BI-ISIG has just been one of the most important things for me at ACRM and has been important for my career. I met terrific people throughout the years, it was the first week I joined, and I’ve met colleagues that I collaborated with on projects here at ACRM that have gone on to publication and made an impact. I’ve met colleagues that I’ve gone on to other research projects outside of ACRM."
