The appropriated videos are found from various science fiction movies ranging from the 1950’s to 2000’s. Some high budget films, some low budget, each voyaging to space in means of comprehending the universe. Science fiction allows for us to go beyond the boundaries of social norms and truly explore our inner curiosities and desires. There is a sort of anxiety to the audio and quick clips collaged together. I think this points to the anxiety of not knowing. As humans, we are always searching for answers, through science, religion, and even fiction. I hope that this video can show the ways in which we can use cinema to satisfy our thirst for knowledge and even tease our curiosities.
