A workshop where we study, practice, move and dance while caring for our body to increase and preserve its capabilities.

This workshop is a product of Maria’s personal quest to find an effective response to the increasing needs of our bodies during continuous practice, rehearsals, and performances.

Through simple movements we start exploring the main principles our bodies use to operate, in order to progressively redefine the personal technique for each individual.

With key concepts such as preparation, distance, time, volume, moving from inside out, expansion, rhythm and dynamics, we develop our movement from the core while focusing on the process.

By studying the body and its movement, by translating it so we can understand it, we move with a purpose to cultivate a versatile, aware and prepared body, to achieve our full potential for performance.
