A Day With Nicolas is a 2d animated sci-fi short film, about a young man living in an underground-city in the year 2060.

These underground-cities have been built to create a habitable environment underground for humans to live, when the surface-world had become uninhabitable because of the poor way we treated our climate.

These underground cities made it possible to give back a lot of space to nature which we had previously occupied with our surface-cities and let the climate recover itself, with the hope of one day being able to inhabit the surface world once again.

The film shows a day in the life of Nicolas, a citizen of one of these modern underground-cities, giving you a personal tour of this speculative future-world.
