《多维采样》(系列)是曹雨西工作室2019年起步的数字当代艺术计划，其项目核心围绕二维码图像内容为行数字艺术逻辑的再次创作，进一步重新审视新时代的由二维码移动数字科技化引领后的数字艺术语言体系。观众可以通过使用手机扫描装置的数据内容中的二维码激活并触发声音与装置进行互动，本次的声音影像装置版本是与香港艺术家，作曲家刘晓江共同创作完成的。  

Dimensional Sampling (Series) is a digital contemporary art project started by Cao Yuxi Studio in 2019. The core concept of the project is based on the digital totem of the era totem represented by the QR code image style, and further re-examine the digital age of the new era. This AudioVisual version installation is collaborative project that created with Hong Kong based sound artist Lawrence Lau. 

About Artist:

曹雨西的作品横跨声音可视化的新媒体表演，伪逻辑性篡改初级电脑脑或物理编程，数据可视化作为现成品的当代艺术，灯光或投影形式的公共艺术以及任何以数字媒介产或流通的跨界创作。
他对自我的行为以及作品总结是：被整体社会意识形态逼迫下的理想主义者的自我救赎，保留批判和自我批判意识的同时，坚持激进进取型的工作逻辑创新和深入。2013年毕业于中央美术学院，2016年毕业于纽约视觉艺术学院计算机艺术系艺术硕士，现居留于美国纽约。

Cao Yuxi is an artist and coder based in New York City who defines himself as an idealist trying to redeem his pledge under the social pragmatism pressure.
Cao Yuxi designs, collaborates and consults on projects across the spectrum of sound-visualization, programming and computing. His innovative approach to creating art and incorporating technology has enabled Cao Yuxi to generate and shape numerous design projects including space design, new media art installation and public art in both China, Europe and the USA.

刘晓江，先后毕业于香港演艺学院及香港城市大学，主修作曲及电子音乐、创意媒体艺术。 除了创作音乐，包括室内乐、管弦乐、中乐、现场电子乐及视听艺术等，刘晓江也热衷于剧场、展览空间及非常规空间中探索各种概念、语言以及创作的本质，喜欢透过声音的多元角度切入，以乐手、表演者、声音设计等身份进行创作。

Lau Hiu Kong (Lawrence) is an artist based in Hong Kong. He received his BMus in Composition and Electronic Music and MFA in Creative Media at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and The Hong Kong City University respectively. Lawrence enjoys researching different art disciplines. Apart from his music, ranging from numerous chamber ensembles, or chestra, Chinese instruments, live electronics and live audiovisual works, he also delivers his creativity in theatre, gallery and other possible spaces as a musician, performer, sound designer.
