A slideshow of photos from Shauna and Philips wedding in Harvey’s Point hotel on the shore of Lough Eske, Donegal Town.
Philip and Shauna chose to have their wedding ceremony in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles. Harvey’s Point was the wedding venue of choice.
The bride, Shauna and her bridesmaid, Clodagh got their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite of the hotel. Aoibheann from G&G was there from early that morning to help with the makeup.
Philip, the groom, along with his groomsmen, Jamie and Marty put on their suits on the other side of Lough Eske in a friend's house. They had even time for a quick drink before heading to Mountcharles for the ceremony.
Fr. Timothy Bartlett, a friend of the bride and groom was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their rings, they made their way back down the aisle. Outside the chapel, Philps club mates formed an arch with hurls where the newly married couple came through. They were then congratulated by their friends and family as they left the church.
It didn’t stop raining all day, so we had a very quick stop at Mountcharles pier for a few photos in the lashing rain.
There was a drinks reception with a bit of music for the guests in the Garden Suite of Harvey’s Point as they waited to be called for the evening meal.
After the meal and speeches Shauna and Philip cut their wedding cake. While the band was setting up we had time to go outside and some night time portraits.
It was then upto Freefall to keep the guests entertained for the rest of the night. For the couples first dance they got all the guests in a circle around the dance floor.
