In 2011, Orit wrote this song "Waters" in honor of her dear friend Lori's wedding. It was written about the traditional Jewish bathing by a bride in the "mikveh," ritual waters, to signify the rebirth and fresh start that comes through marriage. The song was adapted for a new type of birth - the birth of Orit's daughter, Hanna, who grew in the "waters" of amniotic fluid to eventually give her mother a rebirth and fresh start. Enjoy!
