For the past 16 years, photojournalist, Lloyd Wolf has been documenting memorials built to remember victims of homicide in Washington, D.C. Lloyd keeps an ongoing record of his work on a blog titled, "Washington's Other Monuments". Watch this three minute mini-documentary that shines a light on the culture, art, and pain tied into these so-called, "street shrines."
