Play, download and edit the free video User Interface Class Assignment.

This is one of the early assignments in the beginning Game Development class where we played with Unity 3D user interface objects. The requirements were:

1. have a user interface (UI) for a fictional game
2. text element with the name at the top center of the screen
3. buttons for "New Game," "Load Game," "Settings," and "Exit"
4. a different sound for each button
5. a sound should play when the name of the game is clicked
6. a slider that adjusts the volume
7. (bonus) a UI menu should appear over the main menu when "Settings" is clicked

My style is to try something a bit different when given the chance, so I made this all out of UI objects. I wanted it to be possible to play a song in the main menu (when the buttons' navigation is disabled) and have button text that was not the traditional horizontal text.
