This past summer, I had the opportunity to travel around Ireland with a group of girls from my school to learn Irish history and culture, see the sights of Dublin, Galway, and Inishbofin, and write freely in the vast landscapes of this European country. I will always remember this as a trip filled with thought-provoking art, stunning nature, and delicious food, but mostly I will carry the memories of my new friends with me. I feel truly blessed to have experienced all that I did during those incredible two weeks and have the poems, short stories, and song lyrics that I wrote while there to look back upon forever.
