In this week's Scripture we get to see and overhear two accounts of healing miracles courtesy of Christ. Most impressive is Christ the Healer! Not to mention the two healed. But what is remarkable to me is just how important the roles were of those individuals surrounding those healed. Neither of the two healed, nor word of them, would have made their way to Jesus without the help of others. A mother shows up where Jesus is and begs for her daughter's sake. The daughter is healed. A group of people take a deaf mute to Jesus and he is healed. What cannot be overstated is the valuable role others played in the lives of the two healed who experienced the healing power of Christ Jesus the Lord. We can surely relate. To God Be the Glory!
