This is a teaser for the upcoming Behind The Scenes video, showcasing some of the more unique instruments Walter used to write this haunting score.
Walter commissioned the build of a unique instrument called a 'Contra Hurdy. A 'Frankenstein' of an instrument that borrows its body from a large double bass with the strings being 'driven' by small motors found in a medieval Hurdy Gurdy.
Custom-made waterphones as well as Walter's extensive modular synth rig were used to create tense and ever evolving soundscapes.
