It's the Summer of Hiking! Simply because being outside away from as many people as possible seems like the only alternative in 2020. Bring some water, some good boots and a face mask, just in case. Washington is beautiful go explore it.
In this episode we explore Maury Island Marine Park. It's a quick ferry ride to Vashon Island then a short drive south. The park has three different trail heads, we set off from the central one, equipped with a deck overlooking the park. The park was a gravel pit at some point, and shows the scars from it. The trail starts at the right of the viewpoint deck and forks... straight ahead is a forest loop, and if you take the left it's a winding 500' through steep meadows to the beach.
Shot entirely with a Panasonic GH5, an Atomos Ninja V and a Panasonic 12-35mm lens. Edited in Adobe Premier.
