THE SONG OF MOSES

“Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the LORD, saying, “I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea” (Exodus 15:1, ESV).
Moses, the servant of God, sang a song unto the LORD, as the people of Israel joined him in praising the mighty works of the LORD. Miriam, his sister, Aaron, his brother played Timbrel and danced, while all the women followed them in playing Timbrels and dancing.
Miriam said “…Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. (Exodus 15:21)
After the deliverance of the children of Israel from the mighty and evil forces of Pharaoh, the children of Israel and Moses sang the song of praises to the LORD, and they sang praises unto the only living God, who drowned and killed their enemies in the Red Sea.
