This project was an interactive installation design based on Arduino programming. It created a kind of unrealistic space for viewers. When a viewer enters the space, a light in the room randomly lights up. As more and more viewers enter the space, more and more lights are turned on. Then with the sound of a gunshot, everything goes back to dark.

This installation is metaphorical. For China in turmoil in 100 years ago, The lights are a symbol of hope for "republic" . But the hopes of “republic” turned to despair with the assassination of Song Jiaoren in 1913. Once again, China's politics are in turmoil.
