Recreation MEMORY OF HEART, version II (2017) was made for the personal multidisciplinary project VISION OF THE SOUL / MIROIR DE L'ÂME (2017) by Olga & Elena Budaeva.
From 26 October to 23 November 2017 VISION OF THE SOUL / MIROIR DE L'ÂME has been held at the French Institute in Moscow. It includes an exhibition of graphic works, paintings, author’s photographs, sound installation, performance. The project was also presented on STANTSIA art venue in Kostroma from 24 March to 16 April 2018. MEMORY OF HEART, version II (2017) was premiered on the 26th of October and 20th of November 2017 at the French Institute in Moscow and then it was shown on the 24th of March 2018 on STANTSIA art venue in Kostroma.

MEMORY OF HEART, version II (2015) was selected and premiered as a part of the programme of Contemporary Dance Festival Lonely in the rain? on October 24 in Joensuu, Finland.
It was also shown on December 8, 2015 on Konstruktor stage at ZIL Culture Centre in Moscow and on April 7, 2016 on Skorohod stage in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

"The performance sends us to the memories that we all keep deep inside us. Recollecting the important events, things and people is usually accompanied by emotional experiences. A memory often springs up in the consciousness unexpectedly. A long-forgotten melody, a re-read writing, a season of the year, a painting of an artist, a face momentarily appeared in the crowd make us plunge into our inner world again and awake thoughts and emotions with new intensity.
As we walk through our lifetime the traces are left in our hearts and in the space, we have our face back to our memories. Memory is a timeless, eternal space. The sea is the image of time, continuous motion, constant circling is the base of the World", Olga & Elena Budaeva

A series of graphic paintings Silence by Olga Budaeva was another source of inspiration. This is how V.F. Sidorenko, Doctor of Science Criticism, Professor, State Literature and Art Award Laureate, describes her artworks in his book: "Accurately found visual pause gives a sense of physical plunging into meditation. Artistic incarnation of the concept of timeless/eternal spiritual unity of the Human and the Environment. The author’s artistic-meditative contemplation of the environment is supported by the great tradition of spiritual searchings proper to the classical art by A. Ivanov, V. Boris-Musatov, M. Nesterov, Puvis de Chavannes, O. Redon, M. Denis etc."
