This film explores someone exploring a new venture and in this case a new sport.I edited the video using Premiere Rush. The narrative of this video is that the main character (me) looks to take on the task of playing basketball after having never played it before. I wanted this video to sort of show what life was like during the peak of lockdown, not being able to do much but trying to do new things and stay active whilst not having many options. I felt it was pretty difficult to film on my iPhone 11 as I did not have access to a tripod to keep the shots still and I also did not have access to a microphone so I think my audio wasn’t as great as it could have been if I had access to all the right equipment. I feel like I tried to include a lot of important shots in the video. It was hard to include all the shots I wanted to because of the restrictions I had to work with. However, I think one of the best shots was as I was playing basketball I was able to capture good shots of me dribbling the basketball and shooting the ball at the hoop. The most key shot in this film is the one where the camera is right at the rim and shows me missing all the shots in a row. This is important as it shows me not being able to play the sport and ultimately completing the narrative of the video. I wanted to add background music to my video but Premiere Rush wouldn't allow me to. I feel like it would have added a good element to the video.
