Questioning gender norm, lies, repetition of behaviors, For The Hungry Boy appears as an indoor and intimate piece, relying on the generosity of its performers, text and movement. The trio explores the limits of the cliché of the family structure by exposing a simple private moment of a timeless family. Colored by the music of Nass El Ghiwane and the works of Brahms, the piece navigates between classical writing and popular culture.
