While Location scouting in the downtown Vancouver area, I came across a friendly homeless fellow who was fascinated by my camera and started chatting with me about photography and music. He guided me to a few cool areas for some shots. He played some of his music and talked about his life on the streets, while I got some test shots. Grateful for his assist I got him a slice of pizza and some coffee. Even though he allowed me to film him while he played, he asked that I not use the sound because the music he writes is personal and only meant to be heard by the people he chooses to play for. I assured him I would honor that request. But as we were about to part ways, he said he would like to leave me with some advice and I should record him. What he said was never a point of topic through out our time together, but some how it was something the universe thought I needed to hear. I don't know who else may need to hear this, but here it is.
