I have interpreted the theme of ‘Bright’ in a literal and figurative sense. I have portrayed the theme by reference to the inspiration, passion and energy that this band have for their music accompanied by vivid colours throughout the piece. The lead singer/song writer equates sound with colour, which is known as synesthesia, hence the title of this piece. I have illustrated this by using strong colours and fluorescent lights when he talks about his inspiration. The theme is also exemplified by the band’s talent and their feeling of optimism for the future.
