The spectacle of a Migrating Gathering.
At first glance they could have been mistaken for remnant of late fall tree foliage. But then the birds took flight by the thousands to produce a spectacular show of fast moving dynamic figures against magnificent sunset colors.
That was a delightful natural scene worth stopping for on my commute from work this evening. However, until I got home and went through the video footage captured with camera handheld with frozen fingers, I had no clue how amazing the whole spectacle of nature had been. Indeed the last scene of the video is surreal and drew deep emotions as I was working on the postproduction.
