Known for his "playing with fire" approach to live performance, in which nothing is prepared in advance, the acclaimed improviser releases his most daring and personal project yet.

"The Lost Jazz Solos" is the intricate second recording in Termini's "acoustic" series. From the liner notes: "The music on this recording is improvised. Melodies and chord progressions ('changes') were not determined until the actual moment they happened. Track titles were an afterthought. Even if I were to try to perform these pieces again, I wouldn’t be able to. And since there were no scores, no lead sheets—only this recording remains to document their ever having existed at all. Sometimes when I listen, I think 'Wait a minute, what did I just do there?' But instead of transcribing it and trying to pin it down, I’d prefer to just create something new."

Termini's acoustic series also includes two full-length documentary films in collaboration with videographer Garrett McCall: "Live on Tour" (documentary and companion audio), and "The Russia Concerts" (feat. violinist Sun Roh, conductor Rudi Eastwood, and the State Academic Capella Philharmonic Orchestra of St. Petersburg), "So Fragile", "The Unwanted's", and "The Piano Room Sessions".

Also available: Termini's "electronic" series, featuring "The Tones Project Vol 1" and the highly-evocative and ambient follow-up, "The Tones Project Vol 2". See links below:
