I started this project in 2007. I wrote Steel Bridge Song decades ago. I have always liked it. It was a runner up in the Ben Hur Lampman poetry competition back then.
In 2007, I borrowed Mary's Nikon and spent an afternoon shooting images of the bridge and its surroundings. I recorded myself reading the poem and turned it all into an iMovie.
This past year as I published Clearing The Sky Of Thickets on Lulu.com, I went back and looked at the one DVD I had from the earlier effort. I was struck by how much difference 12 years make.
I looked back at the source files, and thought I could do a better job. And I have Vimeo as a platform to share it. Thanks for taking a look. And the book it's from is available for sale. Pretty inexpensive at about $ 14 a copy.
