With difficulty we lift our feet, step to step and with breaking light. But even with heaviness, there suspend in burden the breaking of bondages, and we live in two worlds at once straining up and about for the light.
The dancer featured in this short is the wonderful Jessica Hartsfield. She absolutely made some magic happen. Thanks to her for jumping in on this collaboration and for putting together such a great piece of choreography.
Location: filmed in the city center of Shanghai China in a few locations near People's Square.
