Sometimes all you need is a willing presence. Someone to sit with you. Listen to your story. Validate your pain. Celebrate your victories. Challenge your unrealistic beliefs. Encourage your heart. Join you on the journey towards healing. This is my passion – to see broken, hurting people restored. As someone who has gone through the counseling process, I know that nothing can be more empowering than having a safe person to tell your story to with no judgment or rejection. If you are ready, I would be honored to join you as you journey through change towards hope and restoration.

Although I have lived in Colorado for ten years now, I spent the majority of my life moving from state-to-state as a military brat. Throughout those years of moving, I found that the easiest way to make friends was to listen to people’s stories. In Hawaii, the locals called it “Talk story” or sitting down and hearing that person’s life story so that you understood who that person was. Whether in my personal time or within the counseling session, there is nothing I enjoy more than hearing another’s story.

When I am not working, studying for school, or sleeping, I enjoy art, singing, reading, movies, hiking, photography, volunteering, and spending time with my family. I have a strong passion for teenagers and young adults – a passion I discovered when I was still a teen myself! This is probably because I have a big kid heart that loves to goof off while enjoying people, good food, fun experiences, and just life in general.
