Next week I turn 27 and while the nature of this film has been something which has followed me around since my early teenage years, and with a sense of solace now I can say that it no longer has such a haunting hold over me.
Health Anxiety, otherwise known as Hypochondria, is a concept which is surrounded by a lot of stigma and shame. Many think it is a joke, embarrassing, neurotic or just plain weird.
But to the sufferer it is so much more than that.
It is a form of anxiety, loss of control and excessive fear. It is persistent and intrusive. Constant paranoia. It is overwhelming and exhausting and It will make you feel so alone.
Thank you to all involved in this project and for supporting me through it step by step- to every one in the past and more recently in my lifetime. I love you all.
