Shadows is a diary of the actions and emotions manifested through shadows, to represent a day in isolation.
It is entirely filmed on a balcony, using sunlight to create the silhouettes.
Shadows also is a part of a larger independent project, making a 1 minute video and song everyday during isolation. This project is called “Reggie”. The videos and music are then shared daily on social media.
The mythical creatures, cowboys and witches depicted in the shadows are inspired by the large amounts of films and series consumed during isolation. As well as the conversation and discussion surrounding them.
The film was conceived, filmed, scored and edited all on the same day the AFCOOP Balcony Diaries Challenge #1 parameters were presented.
