Through the invitation of my friend Jansen Folkers (Kaiser Quartett) i have had the privilege to be in the audience for the world premiere of Room 29 at Kampnagel in Hamburg, a theatrical music performance Jarvis Cocker and Chilly Gonzalez have created together with the musical genius of the Kaiser Quartett.
As part of their world premiere Jarvis Cocker, who hosted this evening, decided to pick a person from the audience and challenge him with two live improvisational tasks. Through a camera directed towards the audience he chose me, since he was looking as he said for a coming film star.
