Rachel & Brendan Love Story
What’s your love story? How did you meet originally and get together?
We met at our local club and he asked me on a date. Not very exciting but very lucky.

How did the proposal go, if there was one?
He proposed at crown casino, a great story actually. Our typical date night is basketball at the arcade, dinner and a movie. So as far as I knew we were heading to Crown which is a fancy place for basketball and a nice dinner. Brendan had already organized with Crown how everything would go. We were playing basketball in the arcades and a worker came up and challenged him and said he would win a prize if he won a game against him. They drew the first game and he won the second. Another man had a plate with a lid on it and removed the lid which revealed a box, Brendan turned to me, got on one knee and asked me to marry him. He also had our favorite song playing at this time.

Could you sum up your wedding in a couple of sentences – how would you describe the look and feel of the day, the vibe?
Traditional, a dream come true, it honestly could not have gone any better it was perfect. Incredible, party, summer vibe.

What was important to you about your wedding- what your priorities from the very beginning were?
That Brendan and I enjoyed ourselves, not stressful, not rushing, not a lot of people just our closest friends and family.

What made your venue “the one”?
The view and flexibility of the venue, the roof was waterproof and opened and closed, they had heaters and an amazing view overlooking the water, beautiful food and a stunning garden to have the aperitif in. They were also very good at meeting my needs.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms planning their day?
Make sure you have only the most important people there on your day because that really made it so much more special and we actually got to speak to everyone and dance and enjoy ourselves. Also, look in the mirror and take a few minutes to look at yourself and take it in.

Where did you go/are you planning on going on honeymoon?
We went to Malta, Jamaica, Cuba, Bahamas, Mexico City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Hawaii. That was our honeymoon and it was amazing.
