Steve started out in music many years ago as a DJ, producer and event organiser before moving into working with young people and music in community arts projects. He now runs a community interest company specialising in creative music and film projects for young people, as well as coordinating this #REMIX project! Steve still makes music and DJ's for fun at his creative leisure.
In this video, Steve makes an original 4-bar beat in Logic Pro using a range of inputs, from: vinyl sampling; recording organic sounds from the garden; utilising software instruments and sample packs. It's a bit of fun and gives a small insight into one approach of many for making music!
