JP Riley and Marc Kerin's second major label music video co-directing effort for RCA Records following The Verve Pipe's Happiness Is music video the year before. Rachael was a cast member in their first video, however she had not signed with RCA yet at that point in time, there was a lot of label interest when the verve pipe video was in production.

JP had recorded two of her songs for his first short film, which had won several major festivals in 2000. Rachael and JP met when he was at Northwestern University working as a college marketing rep for Sony Music. One of his friends, Josh Pool (whom was the rep for Electra Records Urban dept) advised JP to go see Rachael's indie-alt-rock funk band, Bumpus playing at the Cubby Bear in Chicago.

JP was mugged in the parking lot on his way into the show the night they met...he still had his wallet and a broken nose. He missed most of the show due to having to fill out a police report and his assailant was carted off in an ambulance.

JP walked inside to catch the encore, a cover of NIN Inch Nails, song, Closer. Had JP's nose not been freshly broken and Rachael not been belting out the lines, "I Wanna Fuck You Like An Animal" they might not have made a lasting an impression on each when chatting after the show...and who knows where things might have ended up.
