PURE SIMPOSIUM
a video celebration of the O;
by Ivo Bisignano, to music by Victor Bloom
This short animation is a poem connecting art with craft, both of which are so central to the Ottolenghi collection. The poem revolves around the primordial form of the O (O by Ottolenghi), which is a pure symbol of inclusion. The O's circle is creating a community embracing Ivo Bisignano, Ottolenghi, Serax, the ceramics artist and, last but not least, the person on whose table the beautiful plates are served and celebrated.
Ivo was given a carte blanche in designing the collection and in creating this film, the results being a wonderful cascade of variations and near-mathematical permutations enhanced by the wonderful music of Victor Bloom, and by the beautiful dance of movement and 3D.
