Le pietre della città di Mesagne. Sostegno della sua comunità. Ossatura di un corpo mobile in evoluzione. Paesaggio e passaggio dal passato al presente.
Il progetto PIETRE PREZIOSE vuole raccontare proprio quella parte della città su cui poggia da secoli. Essere consapevoli, coscienziosi e responsabili dei nostri beni più preziosi.
Voglio realizzare un documentario sul centro storico e su l'intreccio di vite di tre persone diverse tra loro: un poeta, un ricercatore e un archeologa.
Mesagne si trova nel Salento in provincia di Brindisi. E' una città molto bella, ricca di storia e di civiltà. Ha un centro storico tra i più belli e interessanti della Puglia. Ultimamente degrado, incuria, lavori di ristrutturazione dell'acquedotto, poca lungimiranza da parte dei suoi stessi cittadini, stanno impoverendo il suo patrimonio culturale e artistico: le antiche basole (le chianche che risalgono al Seicento) del centro storico stanno letteralmente perdendo tutta la sua antica bellezza a causa di vari fattori. Il dissesto idrogeologico, le cattive manutenzioni, il traffico incontrollato di auto e di mezzi pesanti, ecc. Un turismo non sempre responsabile e sostenibile. Per preservarlo, per sensibilizzare i cittadini, per non far vincere l'incuria, il degrado e l'indifferenza sempre più dominanti ho deciso di realizzare un video documentario sulla storia dell'antico basolato della città. Un film ma soprattutto un documento che parli di civiltà, della nostra storia antica e recente. Chi volesse darmi una mano in questo nuovo progetto con consigli, contenuti e interventi o anche sostenere questo crowdfunding può farlo liberamente oppure contattarmi di persona. Sarò felice di confrontarmi con chiunque voglia assistermi in questa impresa.

I want to make a documentary about the historic center and the intertwining of three different people: a poet, a researcher and an archaeologist.
Mesagne is located in the Salento area in the province of Brindisi. It is a very beautiful city, rich in history and civilization. It has one of the most beautiful and interesting historic centers in Puglia. Lately degradation, neglect, renovation works of the aqueduct, little foresight on the part of its own citizens, are impoverishing its cultural and artistic heritage: the ancient basole (the chianche dating back to the seventeenth century) of the historic center are literally losing all its ancient beauty due to various factors. Hydrogeological instability, bad maintenance, the uncontrolled traffic of cars and heavy vehicles, etc. A tourism that is not always responsible and sustainable. To preserve it, to raise awareness among citizens, in order not to win the increasingly dominant neglect, degradation and indifference, I decided to make a video documentary on the history of the ancient city paving. A film but above all a document that speaks of civilization, of our ancient and recent history.
