Eric Farber is a multi-hyphenate artist living and working in New York City.  

Eric has been playing the drums in bands since he was twelve, joined a burlesque circus after dropping out of jazz conservatory, toured through dive bars and concert halls around the world, and sharpened his construction skills building merchandising displays in retail stores. After eventually completing his degree in Art History and Philosophy, he stumbled into his creative home in downtown live theater nearly a decade ago.

Eric's “wildly animated” performance and "positively gasp-worthy" percussion design were featured in The Foundry Theatre’s Good Person of Szechwan (Public Theater, LaMaMa - Drama Desk Nomination: Outstanding Music in a Play); FUTURITY (ARS Nova/SoHoRep, Mass MoCA, Walker Art Center/A.R.T. - Drama Desk Nomination: Outstanding Set Design, Lortel Award: Outstanding Musical, OBA Award: Best New Musical); Animal Wisdom (Woolly Mammoth, A.C.T., Bushwick Starr); The Skin of our Teeth (TFANA); The Infinite Hotel (Prototype); The Little Red Fish (NYC Children's Theater); Cowboy Bob (ARS Nova); The Elementary Spacetime Show (Philly Fringe); The Universe is a Small Hat (Princeton). MFA: Milton Avery School of the Arts, Bard College; BA: The New School. A member of The Lisps since 2007. A member of Old Sound Room performance ensemble since 2019.
