PEACE, LOVE, and DANCE PROJECT- ATLANTA

Dance artists in Atlanta and around the nation responded to a call for unity through movement by the Peace, Love, and Dance Project. Dancers learned the Peace, Love, and Dance Project’s movement phrase, filmed themselves, and then wrote about what they dance for in response to the current state of the world. Dancers had the artistic freedom to use this project to fully express themselves. Some used this project to bring awareness to racial injustices, to feel a sense of connection while social distancing, for their mental health, etc., with the overall intention of promoting peace, love, and dance to the community.
