There is a love of symmetry and history within this film, some obvious some hidden.
The Azaan (call to prayer) you hear in 2 clips is an actual recording I made from a rooftop hearing it being called from Ayah Sofia, which came as a surprise to me.
This trip was incredibly important and special to me. Therefore I made the conscious effort to record as much as I could.
I do not STILL consider myself a film maker. Lots of learning this time around too.
I’ll keep at it.
