“Parigak” is a short film I made to showcase the new stainless steel collection, as well as the clothing capsule collection I have been designing, which I am so excited to share! The film follows the titular character, Parigak, through a love story-a very Afghan love story. I was inspired by the lo-fi, rough music videos of our part of the world, and the soundtrack attempts to reflect that. This is an intimate portrait that happens to also be something of an advertisement. There are a lot of nods to the poetry and literature of our region. The text is written in English and Dari in Latin script as a nod to the days when texting on a phone could only be done in Latin script. We do not focus enough on the beauty of Afghanistan, and that is something I want to always try and uplift. I hope you enjoy!

"پریگک"

پریگک فیلم کوتاهی است که من برای نمایش مجموعه جدید جواهرات و همچنین مجموعه لباسی که طراحی کرده ام ساخته ام و برای به اشتراک گذاشتن شان بسیار هیجان زده هستم! این فیلم شخصیت اصلی اش که پریگک است، را از طریق یک داستان عاشقانه دنبال می کند - یک داستان عاشقانه بسیار افغانی. من از موزیک ویدیوهای که با بودجه محدود در کشور ما و اطراف آن تولید شده، الهام گرفتم. موسیقی و متن همچنان تلاش می کند این سبک را منعکس کند. این یک پرتره خصوصی است که اتفاقاً چیزی شبیه به یک تبلیغ است. در ساخت این ویدیو از شعر و ادبیات منطقه مان الهام گرفته شده. ما به اندازه کافی روی زیبایی افغانستان تمرکز نمی کنیم و این چیزی است که می خواهم همیشه تلاش کنم و آن را ارتقا دهم. امیدوارم لذت ببرید
