Pupils and staff at Sompting Abbotts Preparatory School came together to create this virtual performance of Pachelbel’s Canon, one of the most loved and famous pieces of music in all time. Head of Music Annette Williamson arranged the piece so that string players of all levels could play together from children aged 6 to 11, alongside professional violinist and violin teacher at the school Ellie Blackshaw and pianist and cellist Annette Williamson. With thanks to our drum teacher Trevelyan Harper for the sound mixing and to parent Dr Malcolm Johnston for joining us with his violin!
