My first video from my MA series is a collaboration between myself, Alannah Watson and Catriona Smith. This is the first video, set inside my bathroom in my dreamhouse.
I curated and performed this piece in reference to a jilted barbie and her conflict of what women think they can do and are told to be by society. The oxytocin hormone can be as addictive as heroin, much like being involved and in love with someone. There seems to be this concept that men in the past have controlled and hurt my friends and myself.
