A projection mapped shop window display created by Studio McGuire as part of Hull's Urban Legends Festival 2018. This installation reintroduces Hans Christian Anderson's character 'The Little Mermaid' through her last song as she sacrifices her voice, her mermaid tail and her habitat in return for the ability to walk on land and attract the prince's attention, but she is ignored and left to die, unloved, in a body that causes tremendous physical pain.
