Booker Stardrum is a drummer/percussionist based in Los Angeles, pushing the boundaries between live and electronic music by combining the physicality of live drumming with the impossibilities of recorded, manipulated and digitally synthesized sound. He seamlessly combines an array of very grounded rhythms with almost dreamlike, greater than life meditations in the form of his electronic vocabularry.

Chris Williams is a trumpeter based in New York. By combining his unique technique with digital processing, he manages to create very complex musical schemes, his very organic instrument becoming unbound in space. He has worked with a lot of different disciplines ranging from concerts, contemporary dance, submersive installation to name a few, the visual element being crucial in the development and presentation of his work. Together they two have created ‘On the Platform’, a borderless meeting point of their individual worlds, taken form and expanded with the help of visual artist and animator Miranda Javid.
