In 1905 two songs were published with lyrics by Kathleen Beauchamp, who would go on to become an internationally acclaimed Modernist writer under the name Katherine Mansfield, and composition by her older sister Vera Beauchamp.
For NZ Music Month in 2020, Katherine Mansfield House & Garden asked local soprano Georgia Jamieson Emms to record 'Night'.
Georgia recorded the song with her piano at home and it was played during an interview with Katherine Mansfield House & Garden Director Cherie Jacobson on RNZ's Afternoons with Jesse Mulligan.
