Back in 1992 at Ithaca College I did a music video for my roomate Dale's metal band Parasite. The music video for their song "Road Kill".
The drummer from the band , Steve showed the music video to his parents. His dad worked for a pharmaceutical company and wanted to do something memorable for a new anesthetic they were launching called Suprane. My very first Corporate video gig was creating a music video for Suprane- a gas, anesthesiologists still use to this day to put people under for surgery! In moving my office I finally found an old VHS copy of the Suprane Video, which I couldn't find until now! The video was shown at an event and they had confetti canons that shot off while they showed the music video. Since it was 1992, it was shot in standard definition. I used almost every effect our Amiga/video toaster had to pull this off. I also cut this on a BVE-900 with 3/4" tapes. It was the first project I ever did widescreen.
