We have yet another fashion lawsuit on our hands.

This time it’s Cardi B and Moschino vs the paparazzi.

It all started back in May 2018 when Cardi B hit the streets of New York looking fresh out of your nan’s flowerbed.

The rapper was snapped by paparazzi wearing a floral jacket from Moschino’s Spring/Summer 18 collection.

Splash News managed to snag pics of Cardi in the outfit and quickly licensed the photos.

But Moschino, Jeremy Scott and Cardi B all posted the pictures to social media without consent.

Splash News got pretty vexed and filed a lawsuit against all 3 parties under copyright infringement.

Now here is where things get interesting.

Instead of quietly settling the case like we normally see with these paparazzi feuds,

Moschino hit Splash News with an even bigger lawsuit.

Not only did the luxury brand deny the claims (with their impressive 45 defences),

they claim it was actually Splash News who have infringed copyright,as Moschino had already trademarked the “visual material” Cardi was snapped in.
