My father had worked as a professional singer in South Florida during the 1950’s. He was featured as the Master of Ceremonies at the Monte Carlo hotel (across from the Fountainbleu) for several years and then was asked by WCKR (an NBC affiliate) to host his own radio program called ‘Rendezvous With The Stars,’ where he interviewed many celebrities of that era including entertainers such as Maurice Chevalier, Sophie Tucker, Dorothy L’amour and even Rocky Marciano) I am grateful that he raised me in a ‘household of music’ and I wish to post several renditions of some of his favorite songs in order to pay tribute and say ‘thank you’ to him for being such a wonderful father.
