I wrote an acoustic instrumental album, Mamma, as a tribute to my mother who is suffering from dementia. She now receives palliative care. This song is taken from the album. I did the video, with a heavy heart, to illustrate her decline. She is 98 and bedridden, unable to do anything for herself. She is a proud Jamaican whose dream was to one day return home, and not to die in England. She has buried her husband, one daughter, and one son, and all other close relatives are dead.
