“Maculate “ is a short dance film by Alison Janega that explores the pursuit of internal balance in our lives and the outside factors that force us to readjust our priorities. The film features performances by Cate Alvaro, Julia Chodyla, Chloe Davis, Gracie Fletcher, Nateé Himmons, and Anni Huggett. The film was directed, filmed, edited, and sound designed by Alison Janega, with costume design assistance from Adalia Tonnecyck and music featuring “A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway, “Back to Black” by Beyoncé (feat. Andre 3000), “Following Tyler” and “Say Goodnight” by Labrinth, “Midnight” by matt2dank, and “Vienna” by Billy Joel.
