There is a reason why I have been living in London for almost 11 years, and never looked back. "Lux Aeterna" (Eternal Light) is my first short film, and is a short exploration, my partial and artistic representation of this unique, cosmopolitan and so mysterious city that guided me throughout all my adolescence. A city with an architecture laden with symbols that ultimately become almost invisible in everyday life as ubiquitous, and these royal coats of arms that adorn the buildings that watched us grow and explore the city with an almost patronizing look. Its Victorian and Baroque architecture, and buildings from the 19th century Gothic Revival (of which the United Kingdom was the heart) were and still are a huge source of inspiration for me. No matter how many other cities I explore, I always end up coming back here, and for many other reasons besides its beauty. (I would have liked to film from the inside too, I was very limited because not much is open still because of the pandemic..
