LjudTräd is a sound installation concept where sound/media/music is streamed inside a sound absorbing dome-shape. The material to the installation is made out of a textile material that isolates and dampens the sound outwardly and at the same time creates an intimate sound experience inside.
The idea behind LjudTräd is to create an installation solution that works in areas with a high level of sound/noise - like various public spaces/offices/malls etc. To be able to have a sound experience at places like that it is necessary that the sound area is dampened and isolated. The shape of the LjudTräd makes that possible without having walls or doors (no possibilities to hide or vandalize without being seen etc).
